报告人简介:

Dr. Yanbin Li is Distinguished Professor and Tyson Endowed Chair in Biosensing Engineering in Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at the University of Arkansas. He is also Adjunct Professor in the College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science at Zhejiang University in China. He is Fellow of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers and Member of the National Academy of Inventors. He is also a member of several professional societies and organizations, including ACS, ASABE, ASEE, BMES, IAFP, IBE, IEEE, IFT, and SRA.

Dr. Li’s research focuses on biosensors for rapid detection of biological and chemical agents in foods, animals and environment and predictive models and quantitative risk assessment for microbial and chemical hazards in agriculture and foods. He has authored or coauthored 139 research articles published in refereed professional journals. He is the inventor or co-inventor of 13 patents issued. He has served as the editor of Biological Engineering Transactions, associate editor of the Transactions of ASABE, editorial board member of Journal of Food Protection, Journal of Food Measurement and Characterization, Open Journal of Applied Biosensors, Detection, Austin Journal of Biosensors & Bioelectronics, SOJ Biosensors.
